The guitar and vocals were recorded in the old Jam Shop recording studios on Station Road in Haverfordwest (long-gone now), by Alex.

Jim Walker added the violin especially for the album - we were in a Bath-based folk-rock band together called The Ancient Ones in the late 90s. I haven't actually seen him since I was 20-something...

The chorus and melody came to me in a flash, while driving home from an acupuncture session in St. Florence, Pembrokeshire... the rest of the song was built around it.
